Devart is glad to announce the release of Delphi Data Access Components with support for Lazarus 1.8.4, specific features of cloud and database providers in UniDAC, and much more! DAC products can become a successful solution in Delphi development process providing a full range of advanced functionalities, convenient development, and integration with popular databases.
Summary of the most notable changes in this release:
- MySQL 8 is currently supported in MyDAC. We also added support for sha2_password, caching_sha2_password authentications in this version.
- MARS, NonBlocking mode, and Query notifications in TDS are supported in the upgraded version of SDAC.
- Support for System Encryption Password (SEP) is added in IBDAC. We also added a possibility to grant/revoke admin role for a Firebird user with the help of the IBCSecurityService component.
- In ODAC, performance of data fetching in the Direct mode is significantly improved. In this version, you can describe non-compiled stored procedures in the Direct mode. Now the TOraTimeStamp.AsDateTime method returns TDateTime value with milliseconds.
- In PgDAC, we added support for HTTP/HTTPS tunnel.
- WAL in the Direct Mode for non-Windows platforms is supported in LiteDAC.
- The new version of UniDAC includes updated cloud providers with support for App center client authentication for Salesforce MC, FreshBooks new version, Magento version 2.x, NetSuite Sandbox, and ZohoCRM Domain.
- In all DACs, performance of batch operations is improved.
- You can use demo projects for IntraWeb 14, which are now distributed with our products.
