Support for CONSTRAINT suggestion in the ALTER TABLE statement
SQL constraints are rules applied to the columns of a table. They are used to restrict the types of data that can be stored in a table. This ensures the accuracy and reliability of the data in a database. In the latest SQL Complete version, CONSTRAINT
hints are available for the ALTER TABLE
statement.
Suggestion of UPDATETEXT
Starting now, dbForge SQL Complete v6.9 supports UPDATETEXT
that can be used to update an existing text, ntext, or image as a whole or just partially.
Support for DISTRIBUTED_AGG in SELECT — GROUP BY
The DISTRIBUTED_AGG
hint can now be used in the SELECT — GROUP BY
clause.
Support for ALTER/DROP DATABASE SCOPED CREDENTIAL
With the support for ALTER/DROP DATABASE SCOPED CREDENTIAL
in SQL Complete, you can quickly and easily change the existing database credentials and remove them from the server completely.
Support for Configuration Options for Query Store feature in ALTER DATABASE
In the latest version of SQL Complete, the ALTER DATABASE
syntax has been enriched with new configuration options.
Support for WAIT_AT_LOW_PRIORITY in ALTER TABLE … SWITCH PARTITION
SWITCH PARTITION
moves entire partitions between the existing tables almost instantly. New data can be loaded into separate tables and then switched in, while old data can be switched out to separate tables and then archived or purged.
In dbForge SQL Complete v6.9, you can use WAIT_AT_LOW_PRIORITY
. This parameter allows the DBA to control the S and Sch-M locks that are used to rebuild the index online.
Support for new keywords in ALTER DATABASE SCOPED CONFIGURATION
Meet the wide variety of keywords we have added in the latest version of the add-in.
Support for CREATE/ALTER/DROP EVENT SESSION session_name ON DATABASE (for Azure SQL)
SQL Complete suggests full functionality for managing event sessions: creating new sessions, changing and removing the already created ones.
Support for ALTER SERVER CONFIGURATION in MEMORY_OPTIMIZED options
The memory-optimized table type is used to specify a predefined table definition. MEMORY_OPTIMIZED = ON
syntax identifies that this table type will be on the memory-optimized structure.
