New in dbExpress Drivers: Support for Oracle 21c, PostgreSQL 13, and InterBase OTW Encryption

July 14th, 2021

We released new versions of dbExpress drivers to support Oracle 21c, PostgreSQL 13, and InterBase OTW encryption.

The latest versions of PostgreSQL and Oracle Database were supported in the respective dbExpress drivers. You may safely update your database server—the client applications that use our drivers in the data access layer will seamlessly work with all the new features of Oracle Database and PostgreSQL.

The Over-the-Wire (OTW) encryption feature of InterBase was supported in the dbExpress driver for InterBase to allow you to secure your data during the transmission process with SSL/TLS encryption.

Three new options were added in the dbExpress driver for SQLite—LockingMode for configuring the locking mode, JournalMode for setting the journal mode, and Synchronous for configuring the database synchronization mode when writing to disk.

You are welcome to download the new versions. Please feel free to share your feedback with us in the comments section.
