We are delighted to announce the release of the updated dbForge tools for the Oracle, including dbForge Schema Compare, dbForge Data Compare, dbForge Data Generator, and dbForge Documenter.
The major enhancements include product activation via the command-line interface, improved comparison, and sync of virtual columns.
CLI Activation
All dbForge for Oracle tools can be activated and deactivated via the command-line interface using /activate and /deactivate command-line switches.
Improved Comparison and Sync of Virtual Columns
In the new version of dbForge Schema Compare for Oracle, virtual column values are regarded as objects that can be easily synchronized due to the object dependencies being generated within the schema synchronization process.
Discontinued Support for Data Compare Express Edition
As of this release, we stop supporting the low-functionality Express Edition of dbForge Data Compare for Oracle. From now on the support is provided only for the full-featured Standard Edition of the tool.
