New in Delphi DAC: Support for RAD Studio 11.1 Alexandria, Lazarus 2.2.0, macOS Monterey, and Windows 11.

We are pleased to inform you that we have released new versions of ODAC, IBDAC, PgDAC, MyDAC, LiteDAC, SDAC, VirtualDAC, and UniDAC.

Now, all these Data Access Components support the new RAD Studio 11.1 Alexandria and Lazarus 2.2.0 versions. Besides, the support of Windows 11 and macOS Monterey was added.

The topic of cross-compiling projects in Lazarus on Linux systems has been repeatedly raised by our users. Delphi Data Access Components for RAD Studio 11 Alexandria with support for Firebird 4 and Apple M1

New in Delphi DAC: Support for RAD Studio 10.4.2 and Multiple Performance Improvements

Following the release of RAD Studio 10.4.2 Sydney from last week, we are excited to announce support for the new versions of Delphi and C++ Builder IDEs in our data access components. DAC products are now also compatible with macOS Big Sur, iOS 14, and Android 11. Additionally, PostgreSQL 13 was supported in PgDAC.

How to Access DBF Databases in Delphi

xBase is the generic term for all databases deriving from the original dBase database format (.dbf). The list includes Visual FoxPro, Clipper, dBase III, dBase IV, and many others. These databases are informally known as dBase clones because they are either direct descendants of dBase or mimick it.
